Treadmills were originally used to rehab cardiac
and other infirmed patients too weak to move independently. We've devolved into accepting them as a decent workout.
NOT HERE
We ask you to step off the treadmills, elliptical trainers, and other exercise "machines"
while you're here and begin to use your body, once again, in natural yet challenging , athletic, fun and, ultimately, more
effective ways.
Long-Lean-Athletic
Hey, we all want that long-lean-athletic look -- and, for the most part, it's achievable. The road to this look, however, is not paved with low-to-moderate intensity aerobic
workouts (that'll make your circulatory & respitory systems very happy, though). Your road will be paved by picking stuff
up, pushing or pulling stuff, punching and kicking stuff, skipping, jumping, throwing, bending, twisting, reaching and running.
30 Seconds
You
know that you can handle 30 seconds of suffering! Wonderful things start to happen if you combine the appropriate level
of intensity, resistance (or load) and time (exercise duration) with rest (recovery)in your workouts.
Few of us can reach this appropriate level of intensity (and not overdue it) on our
own. This is our calling.
We'll be here when you're ready to get serious about fitness and fun.
